⚠️For purposes of any explanations below, the “Reader" is also “Love Bug Tarot” and the “Client” is defined as the person who is receiving the read at the time of the reading or requested the read from the Reader.

🐞For my purchase, where Do I ask my question and Request a date/time to schedule? -Upon checkout, there will be a “Add a note” available at the bottom of your order screen (Right under “Enter a promo code”). -Once you click on the “Add a note” text, a box will appear and you can type in your Question (please keep it brief, one or two lines will suffice). If you are unsure and need clarification BEFORE you make your purchase, you can go to the CONTACT page to reach us. Make sure to choose the “Tarot” option for the “reason for contact.” -eMail is essential for communication when scheduling and sending the download link for a read and scheduling so please be sure to fill out all appropriate fields upon check out.
🐞I want a read, but I don’t know what I want to ask! -That’s OK! More general topics of Love, Career, Studies, or a “What do I need to know right now?” are perfectly acceptable questions for your reading. *See Read Limitations” and “Reading Ethics” for more guidance
🐞Read Limitations -MUST BE 18+ YEARS OF AGE -Limit one “Ticket” per person, per week (within 7 consecutive days). -Love Bug Tarot will only read for one person at a time. Should the Client want another person present for support or accessibility, that is fine, but please let the Reader know ahead of time who will be present (they must be 18+ years of age as well). Any other persons outside of the Reader and Client are also subject to all Terms and Conditions outlined here in the Guidelines. -Love Bug Tarot cannot do last-minute reads that would require less than a 72 hour turn-around for scheduling or recording. -Love Bug Tarot cannot schedule out more than a month (30 days from date of request). The only exceptions (and up to the discretion of Love Bug Tarot) is for qualifying reschedules (*See “Client Cancellations and No-show policies” and “Reader Cancellations or Termination of Session” for more details). *Also See “Reading Ethics” for Love/Partnership reads and more general guidelines*
🐞Scheduling your Tarot Read -Please keep in mind that Love Bug Tarot is PST (Pacific Standard Time) when requesting a date or time. Please refrain from weekends. They have the right to reject times or request different options if it is on a date or time that cannot work with their schedule (Please understand that Love Bug Tarot is not the only job the reader has. They will do their best to accommodate you, but there may need to be compromises.) -If you want to request a Date/Time BEFORE you make your purchase, you are free to CONTACT us to make your request. -Also see *Read Limitations*
🐞Zoom Calls -The Client is responsible for making sure their device is capable of handling Zoom calls. Audio only calls from the Client’s end is acceptable. -The Client is responsible for checking their device and software for updates before a reading session. -The client is responsible for making sure any necessary audio/visual components are working before the Zoom call. Should technical difficulties cause delays in the Zoom call and reading getting underway, the Reader is not responsible for adding time and is not obligated to do so.
🐞Can I use a Bad Carrot Studio Gift Card to pay for a Tarot Read? -Yes! We honor Bad Carrot Studios Gift cards for tarot reads. Upon checking out, you can use your gift card balance to cover all or part of your read and any other purchases.
🐞Recording your Zoom session or Downloading your Read -Clients are allowed to record their session during the live Zoom call, but the Client MUST also let Love Bug Tarot know if they are also recording. Love Bug Tarot will be recording the session for their safety, as well as to send to the Client after the read has completed. -For Downloads, the Client will receive a link via email to view and/or download their recording. The link will remain live for 30 days from the date the link was sent. After 30 days, the link will deactivate. Love Bug Tarot is NOT responsible if the Client does not view or download their read within the 30 day time period and is not responsible to maintain the read or its’ archive.
🐞Privacy Policy -Your read is YOURS and Love Bug Tarot will NOT post your read to any platform except for the service used to send you your link for the 30 day window for you to download. Your read will NOT be made public, and is not for sale outside of its original purchase from the Client -This read is YOURS and you are free to share it privately. Out of courtesy, please do NOT edit or alter your read. Please do NOT repost to any social media platforms. -These Reads are not for resale or monetization by the client or any third party. -The ONLY exception for Love Bug Tarot to release a private read would be in the event (up to the discretion of the Reader) of unlawful actions, harassment, a legal warrant form a law officer or judge, endangerment to the reader or client (and/or any other party present at the time of the read) or if it was suspected that the client (and/or any other party present at the time of the read) may be a danger to themselves or others.
🐞Upfront Pay & Refund Policy -Payment for an appointment is due in full, up-front and completed at the time the tarot read is ordered through the website or through any Payment device Love Bug Tarot is currently using to receive payments for reads. -Should the client wish to cancel (NOT reschedule) an appointment once it has already been scheduled, they will receive only 50% of their payment back. *See Client Cancellations and No-show Policies* -Should the client wish to terminate the reading within the first 10-15min of their live zoom call, they may do so without revealing any reason or motivations. The Client will receive only 50% of their payment back. The Client MAY NOT demand any refund after the 15min mark or after the read is completed. *See Client Cancellations and No-show Policies*
🐞Client Cancellations and No-show policies -”No-Show” is defined as (but not limited to) the Client not showing up for the Zoom call or appointment or failure to communicate absence or tardiness in an appropriate time frame. -A 10min window past the designated appointment time is granted. However, should the Client fail to show or communicate with the reader before that time is up, the Client will be deemed a “No-Show” and the appointment will be terminated with no refund. -Should the client wish to cancel (NOT reschedule) an appointment once it has already been scheduled, they will receive only 50% of their payment back. -Should the client wish to terminate the reading within the first 10-15min of their live zoom call, they may do so without revealing any reason or motivations. The Client will receive only 50% of their payment back. The Client MAY NOT demand any refund after the 15min mark or after the read is completed. -Life happens! However, please notify Love Bug Tarot if there is a need to reschedule an appointment within 24 hours of the original appointment time. Failure to notify Love Bug Tarot within the 24 hour period before the scheduled appointment of an absence will result in the appointment being classified as a “No-Show” and no refunds will be given. -In the case of emergencies, exceptions can be made for the 24-hour cancellation policy. What qualifies and an emergency is up to the discretion of Love Bug Tarot. -Examples of what can qualify as an Emergency: In the case of family/medical emergencies, unforeseen circumstances out of the Client's control, Acts of God, or natural phenomenon such as (but not limited to) Earthquakes, Severe Weather, Floods, Fire, Civil Unrest, ect. The Client, as soon as they are safely capable to do so, is responsible for contacting Love Bug Tarot.
🐞Reader Cancellations or Termination of Session -Life ALSO happens to Readers! Should the Reader need to reschedule, they will let the Client know as soon as possible via email and at least 24 hours in advance. -In the case of family/medical emergencies, unforeseen circumstances out of the Reader’s control, Acts of God, or natural phenomenon such as (but not limited to) Earthquakes, Severe Weather, Floods, Fire, Civil Unrest, ect. Love Bug Tarot will notify the Client as soon as they are safely capable to do so and work on rescheduling the appointment. -The Reader (Love Bug Tarot) reserves the right to terminate a read at ANY time without warning or explanation should they feel threatened or harassed with NO refund. This includes (but is not limited to) Vulgar Language, Harassment due to the age/religion/gender identity/sextuality/economic background/ect. of the Reader, Homophobia, Transphobia, Sextual Advancements, Propositioning the Reader for any favors (sextual in nature or otherwise), Demanding more time, Threats to cause harm (mentally, emotionally, physically, metaphysically, or spiritually) to the Reader or anyone associated with them, Threats of blackmail, or any behavior deemed inappropriate by the Reader both in a live session (video call or in person) and in any written correspondence across any and all private and social platforms. -The right for Love Bug Tarot to seek legal action or release any footage, communications, or relevant information to authorities is up to the discretion of Love But Tarot. *See “Privacy Policy” -The Reader reserves the right to end a session once the designated time (that was referenced in the Client’s purchase of the reading) has concluded whether or not all questions have been answered for the Client. The Reader is not responsible if the Client’s talking takes up a majority of the time and the reading is unable to reach its conclusion. The Client is welcome to book and pay for an additional reading or pay for additional time for a current reading. However, the reader is not obligated to accept additional payment for additional time or any future bookings.
🐞Reading Ethics -Love & Partnership readings are fine! However, the Reader can only ask about the energetic “feel” between two parties should one not be present or able to consent to being a part of a read. -Love Bug Tarot can do a reading of ONLY the people present at the time of the reading, or those who have given sufficient (what qualifies as “Sufficient” is up to the discretion of the Reader and they have the right to reject a request) and complete consent. ALL participants (present or not) MUST be over 18 years of age. Example: OK: Asking about a soul mate/twin flame/true love the Client has not met yet. The Reader may read how the Client’s and their person/entity in question energies compliment or work together. NOT OK: Asking to know what your ex and their new partner are doing. Asking to know about someone’s suffering or misfortune in ANY capacity is NOT ok and will be automatically rejected. -The Client may change their questing during the scheduling process, but MUST settle on one that is approved BEFORE the scheduled read. Changing the question or asking intrusive or harmful questions about the person/subject during the reading is unacceptable and grounds for the Reader to terminate the session with no refund. -Love Bug Tarot is NOT a licensed Mental Health Professional, Doctor, or Legal Advisor. -Readings are NOT meant to substitute any professional, medical, or legal advice. Love Bug Tarot and all its affiliates are not responsible for timing or accuracy of any reading. The Client is responsible for their own actions. Clients are advised to use their best judgments before making any decisions based on a tarot reading.
